Girl group BLACKPINK’s second regular album, pre-release song ‘Pink Venom’, topped the iTunes Top Song Charts in 69 countries worldwide on the day of its release.
According to the agency YG Entertainment, the song, which was released yesterday, had even enjoyed worldwide popularity including North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, and topped the iTunes Worldwide Songs Chart.
‘Pink Venom’ topped major Korean music charts, including Melon, Bugs, Vibe, and Genie.
The 2nd album ‘Born Pink’, which is about to be released next month, is expected to break the K-pop girl group sales record by surpassing 1.5 million pre-orders within a week of pre-orders.
