The group BTS was selected as the winner of the Album of the Year award by the American entertainment media Variety for their global hit song ‘Butter’.
Variety said that ‘Butter’, released in May, caused a sensation around the world, and evaluated that BTS member RM and others who participated in writing and composing the song made a perfect hit.
This is the second time BTS has been selected as a ‘Hitmaker’ by Variety.
‘Hitmaker’ is an awards ceremony that selects record companies, singer-songwriters, producers, and composers who have contributed to the production of the most popular songs of the year, and will be held on the 4th of next month.
