[사회]Department store cosmetics sales workers and Homeplus unions go on strike on the first day of the holidays

Today (18th), the first day of Chuseok holiday, department store cosmetics sales staff and Homeplus union went on strike.

L’Oreal, Chanel, and Shiseido branch of the Department Store Duty Free Sales Service Union of the Service Federation announced that 80% of the 1,600 union members nationwide went on strike today, and the rest of the union members will also participate according to the department store closure schedule.

Earlier, the union protested the department store’s unilateral decision to overtime work, demanded a wage increase, and announced a strike during the Chuseok holiday.

We are going to go on strike for the two days leading up to each department store closing day.

The Homeplus branch of the Mart Industry Labor Union went on strike, demanding that the sale of stores be stopped.
