In particular, according to the policy of expanding school attendance for the second semester, the key is whether or not the fear of infection within the school can be alleviated as classes are held in the 4th stage area as well.

In many places, the second semester begins this week for middle and high schools and next week for elementary schools after summer vacation is over.
As the Ministry of Education expands school attendance for the second semester, classes in areas with the 4th level of distancing will also be held.

In the 4th level area, including the metropolitan area, 1/3 of elementary and middle schools go to school, and 2/3 of high schools, including those in high school who have been vaccinated, go to school.
In the 3rd level area, elementary school is 5/6, middle school is 2/3, and high school can go up to full school.
After the 6th of the next month, the standards will be further relaxed, allowing students to go to school at level 3 or less and 2/3 of the level at level 4 to school.
The problem is the rapid spread of COVID-19.
The four-digit number of confirmed cases continues for the 41st day, and the number of confirmed cases on the day of the week is also breaking new highs.
In Jeju Island, which is about to upgrade to the fourth stage of social distancing, a group infection has also occurred at private academies.
