The character relationship diagram of MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Black Sun’ centered on Namgoong-min, Park Ha-sun, and Kim Ji-eun has been released.

MBC’s 60th anniversary special project, the new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Black Sun’ premiered on the 17th. According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company on the 18th, MBC TV’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘Black Sun’, which aired the day before, had a pleasant start with 8.2% in the metropolitan area.

‘Black Sun’ is the winning work of writer Park Seok-ho’s 2018 MBC Drama Script Contest, and it is the story of the best field agent of the National Intelligence Service, who disappeared a year ago, and returns to the organization to find the insider traitor who dropped him into the abyss.

First, the antagonistic relationship between Han Ji-hyeok (Namgoong-min) and his classmate Seo Su-yeon (Park Ha-sun) attracts attention. Although Han Ji-hyuk is the best field agent recognized for his abilities within the National Intelligence Service, he is a person who has earned the notoriety of ‘the god of death’ due to frequent injuries or deaths of his colleagues. His dogmatic attitude, devoted only to the success of his mission, causes Seo Su-yeon’s resentment and eventually leads to a confrontational relationship. Here, we wonder how the relationship between the three will unfold, including Yoo Jae-yi (Kim Ji-eun), who works as Han Ji-hyeok’s partner and helps him find lost memories.

The head of the National Intelligence Service, Bang Bang Chan (played by Kim Byung-gi), the first deputy director of the domestic part, In-hwan Lee (played by Lee Kyung-young), and the second deputy director of the overseas part, Do Jin-sook (played by Jang Young-nam) are expected to show a fierce battle for power and a breathtaking psychological warfare within the NIS. Expectations are high for Lee In-hwan, who controls the director from behind and takes the real power of the organization, and Do Jin-sook, who tries to strengthen the overseas part, which has not seen the light of the domestic part. At the same time, interest in how the key characters of each part, such as Kang Pil-ho (Kim Jong-tae), Jung Yong-tae (Kim Min-sang), and Ha Dong-gyun (Kim Do-hyun), will be intertwined and the tense situations they will draw is heightened.

In addition, the NIS field support team, who boasts a variety of characters, such as Cha Min-cheol (Park Jin-woo), who has a ‘My Way’ tendency, and Goo Hyo-eun (Kwon So-hyun), a ‘working mom’ eager to leave work, will be added to fill the drama more abundantly. . As such, the dense character relationships and secret narratives of the Korean-style spy blockbuster drama, which are difficult to meet in small screens, are taking off the veil, making the first broadcast even more awaited.

The drama has a total of 12 episodes, and Netflix will not release it.
