Players can finally drive the Aston Martin Valhalla in 007 First Light following a free DLC update released by IO Interactive on October 2, 2026. The mid-engine supercar previously appeared near the end of the game’s story campaign, but access was restricted to a small area in Q Branch where Bond used its machine guns and missiles against enemies, traxion.gg reported.

The vehicle also made a brief cameo in the 2021 film No Time to Die. The new Extended Operations update, which launched on October 1, 2026, brings the Valhalla into dedicated driving missions accessible through the TacSim training mode.

Alongside the supercar driving tests, the update introduces a separate TacSim stealth mission. This mode tasks players with stealing documents from a safe located inside the luxury Vietnamese hotel featured in the main campaign. A photo mode and a New Game+ mode round out the package.

Strong Sales Secure Future Story Expansion

The game launched on May 27, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, moving 4 million copies in its first three months. That commercial milestone places the title in hit territory and secures long-tail support from IO Interactive, whose previous work on the Hitman series received updates years after release.

Future content plans include a premium story expansion centered on the pirate king warlord Bawama, played by Lenny Kravitz. However, no release date has been confirmed for that narrative add-on. Meanwhile, the planned Nintendo Switch 2 port of 007 First Light has slipped from its initial window and is now targeting a March 2027 release date.
