■ US FOMC minutes released – The January minutes (January 30-January 31 meeting) of the U.S. Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) will be released on the 21st local time (4 am on the 22nd, Korean time).

■ NVIDIA performance announcement – NVIDIA, a computer graphics chip manufacturer, will announce its fourth quarter earnings on the 21st local time (7 a.m. on the 22nd, Korean time). Related sectors include semiconductor stocks (production), IT stocks, HBM (high bandwidth memory), semiconductor equipment, semiconductor materials/components, and system semiconductors.

■ Open AI CEO attends Intel Direct Connect event – Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, which is pursuing the development of its own AI (artificial intelligence) chip, is scheduled to meet with Pat Gelsinger, CEO of U.S. semiconductor company Intel, on February 21st local time, following Samsung and SK. . Intel plans to meet at Direct Connect, an event to introduce the operating strategy and portfolio of Foundry Services (IFS) to customers, etc., and Altman is expected to go on stage and mention the importance of semiconductors in the AI ​​field.
