A doctor has been arrested on charges of raping and administering an unidentified hospital in Gangnam, Seoul, and administering general anesthesia inducers to women.
When this doctor was suspected of administering anesthesia inducers in the past, he only changed the signboard and continued to operate the hospital.

A 52-year-old hospital director, Kang Mo, who is wearing a suit and bowed, leaves the courthouse with his arms held by investigators.
A warrant was requested for habitually administering the general anesthesia inducer ‘Etomidate’ to female patients for purposes other than treatment, and a warrant was requested for sexual assault.

The Seoul Western District Court arrested Kang last night saying, “There is a risk of escape.”
Kang has been running a private hospital in downtown Apgujeong, Seoul for over 10 years.

This hospital, which has no phone number or medical department, is unknown even to the surrounding area.

“It’s just a member of parliament, a real ‘member’, so there was no such thing. I don’t know the identity at all.”
When I checked, the hospital had closed about three months ago, and another office was in its place.

“He’s gone. He’s gone now, the hospital. It’s turned into an office. There’s been talk about going to America…”
It was found that Kang was operating the hospital secretly with a reservation system and administered Etomidate, a general anesthesia inducer.
In particular, suspicions have been raised that she sexually assaulted some female patients unconsciously, but only at least four victims were identified by the police.
Kang is known to have denied the allegations, saying, “I took medication for treatment purposes and had sex under consensual terms.”
Kang also caused controversy in 2019 when the situation of habitual administration of ‘Etomidate’ was revealed, and after that, he has continued to operate with only changing the hospital sign.
