Sam Mobile, a foreign media, reported on the 25th (local time) that Samsung Electronics is considering supporting customized AOD (always-on display) in the GoodLock LockStar module of the system UI customization app.
The Rockstar module offers the ability to select the background image and clock style to use on the lock screen, and the type of information to display on the lock screen, but does not yet support the ability to customize the AOD to full screen of the Galaxy S24 series.
In this regard, a representative from Samsung Electronics Good Lock stated through the official community: “Currently, Rockstar does not support custom AOD for the Galaxy S24 series, but we are reviewing the support internally.”
A Samsung official didn’t specifically mention the timing of support, but SamMobile predicted that “support should be available within the next few weeks.” Meanwhile, Samsung also plans to fix some bugs, such as the AOD icon design issue reported in the Rockstar module.
