Today (August 7th), the Hubei Provincial Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters held a press conference to report on the province’s circulation work and the situation of nucleic acid testing in Wuhan.
From 0:00 to 24:00 on August 6, there were 9 newly confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in the province (including 6 cases in Wuhan City and 3 cases in Jingmen City, all of which have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment). There were 15 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections in Hubei province (including 10 cases in Wuhan City, 4 cases in Ezhou City, and 1 case in Xianning City). The 24 newly-infected cases were all detected within the scope of isolation, control, and circulation, and they were related personnel of the Wuhan Zhuankou Project of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau.
