Huang Weilong was interviewed by Position News as a middle school student in 2017. He mentioned that he had participated in the anti-national education and umbrella movement, but he also mentioned that he and Fang Guoshan have a “good cooperative relationship”. He also stated his opposition to the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance in 2019.

However, Huang Weilong started his stance last year but turned to the establishment. In recent months, he has also been interviewed by the “Wen Wei Po” many times. The content is from the “sorry for neglecting district affairs” of the democratic district councillors, calling on the public to be vaccinated, and supporting “improving the electoral system.” It even celebrates the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, but the online version of relevant reports is no longer available. He was still promoting the third shot of the vaccine in Tseung Kwan O Plaza this Sunday, and no further updates have been made thereafter. His Facebook page has been deleted.
