A huge search for a Vigilance driver who was thought to have jumped into the sea; Finally in the custody of Palakkad South Police

Thiruvananthapuram: Palakkad found a police officer who was believed to have jumped into the sea to commit suicide. Girish, a native of Nellimood, was found by the South Palakkad police. Dramatic events unfolded yesterday afternoon.

Girish, a surveillance driver, had some family problems and financial problems. Yesterday afternoon, the family found a letter from Girish at home. The letter was like ‘I’m leaving’. With this, the family was shocked. The message spread to different police stations. Finally Girish’s bike was found on the beach near Ajimala temple.

There was also CCTV footage of him going ashore. The police concluded that he had tried to kill himself by jumping into the sea. Extensive testing followed. A coastal police boat was also used to search the sea. Inspections were carried out in the sea and in different parts of the reef from this morning.

A message arrived while searching. The message is from Palakkad South Police Station. There is a policeman in Palakkad who thought he had jumped into the sea! Girish was found in Palakkad in a state of wetness after going into the sea with his kilt. It is reported that he changed his clothes and crossed the other side of the cliffs. Girish told the police that he had reached Palakkad by bus.
