Wedbush analyst Dan Ives predicted that Apple would lose about $300 million to $400 million in holiday season sales due to the suspension of smartwatch sales. “While suspending Apple Watch sales doesn’t make a huge difference to the company, it couldn’t have come at a worse time,” Ives said.
Apple said, “If the ITC’s decision to ban sales is not overturned, we will take every step to resume sales of Series 9 and Ultra 2 models in the United States as soon as possible.”
