Lee Ki-myung, an advisor to the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, who led former President Roh Moo-hyun’s support group for 10 years, died at his home in Gangseo-gu, Seoul at 10:33 am on the 5th , said the grieving family. Between 1989 and 2003, the deceased served as chairman of the support group for former President Moo-Hyun Roh, and is regarded as the ‘original pro-Roh’. In 2003, when former President Roh was in office, when the conservative opposition raised suspicions of real estate speculation against the deceased, he posted an open letter entitled “Writing to Teacher Lee Ki-myung” on the Blue House website. . In this letter, former President Roh said, “I can’t control my guilt when I think about you these days.” In the 20th presidential election, the deceased served as a special adviser to the then Democratic Party presidential candidate, Moon Jae-in. In the last presidential election, Lee Nak-yeon, a former representative of the same party, was helping from the sidelines, and Lee Jae-myeong, the candidate at the time, declared public support for Lee after winning the presidential election.
