Man Sets⁤ Fire to Cafe in ‌Gunsan, Suffers⁣ Third-Degree Burns

A fire ⁤broke out⁣ at a cafe in Naun-dong,⁤ Gunsan-si,⁣ Jeollabuk-do, at 4:16 PM on September 11th, leaving a‌ man in his 60s ‌with third-degree burns‍ all over his body.

According to ⁤the police and fire department, the man entered the cafe, sprayed flammable material on the cafe ​floor and on his body, and then ⁤set it on‌ fire. The fire was extinguished by firefighters in about ⁢20⁣ minutes, and the employees ⁣in⁣ the cafe ‌were​ evacuated immediately,‌ with no injuries reported.

The police investigation revealed⁣ that the man was an acquaintance of the cafe’s building owner and ⁤committed the crime⁣ after he refused ​to lend him money. The police will conduct further investigations as the injured man’s condition improves.
