[London, 5th Reuters]-The Foreign, Commonwealth Office recommended on the 5th to refrain from unnecessary and unurgent travel to Sri Lanka due to the economic crisis.

In Sri Lanka, improper economic operations and the aftermath of the new Korona-ka have caused a serious dollar shortage, making it impossible to pay for imports of food, fertilizers, medicines and fuels.

“Sri Lanka is in a serious economic crisis and lacks essentials such as medicines, cooking gas, fuel and food,” the British government explained.
