British manufacturing PMI rose to 58.0 | RYT9

IHS Markit / CIPS revealed that The British Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) was 58.0 in February, the highest level in three months, above 57.3, the initial reading of the January level.

The PMI is above 50, indicating that the UK manufacturing sector continues to expand.

However, export sales declined slightly. Britain’s manufacturing sector sees it as a result of Brexit, coupled with other countries still implementing COVID-19 containment measures and consumers who don’t want to wait for long periods of time.
