(Busan = Yonhap News) Reporter Park Chang-soo = BNK Busan Bank started to manage household loans by limiting household credit loans and loans for jeonse funds.

Busan Bank announced on the 14th that it stopped lending for Jeonse funds in addition to new rental funds from the 12th.

Mortgage Credit Insurance (MCI) and Mortgage Credit Guarantee (MCG) have also been suspended.

MCI and MCG are products that can receive more loans as much as a small rental deposit, but the loan limit will be reduced with this measure.

Earlier, Busan Bank stopped dealing with household credit loans, excluding loans for low-income earners, from last month.

It also does not deal with mortgage loans exchanged with other banks and premium jeonse loan (Seoul Guarantee Insurance guarantee).

The measure follows the recent financial authorities’ order for the bank to manage the total amount of household loans, setting the target for this year’s household loan growth rate to be 6%.

The loan suspension is a temporary measure, and Busan Bank plans to decide whether to resume it in consideration of changes in household loans.
