KUMALI: A man was killed in a collision between Tamil Nadu transport buses near Theni Andipetti on Friday. Forty people were seriously injured. The bus was traveling from Kumily to Nagercoil when it collided head-on with a bus coming from Thiruchendur to Kambam.
Rathinaswamy (54), a resident of Kurunthamkode village in Kanyakumari district, was killed in the accident. The accident happened around 6pm on Saturday. The injured were admitted to Theni Medical College. It is learned that there were Malayalees in the bus which left Kumily.
