New Delhi ∙ The wife of a Mumbai businessman has revealed that her husband killed late Bollywood actor, director and producer Satish Kaushik for Rs 15 crore.
In a complaint filed with the Delhi Police Commissioner, the woman alleged that after Kaushik asked to return Rs 15 crore as a loan, he was killed by giving pills. In the complaint, the woman claims that in August 2022 she and her husband had an argument with Kaushik, who asked for the money back, and that the husband told her he was considering getting rid of Kaushik . The woman revealed that she suspected that her husband and his friends had killed Kaushik to avoid returning the money.
Meanwhile, the police recovered some drugs from the farmhouse where Kaushik’s last Holi party was held. Police have not disclosed what the drugs were or whether the drugs were related to Kaushik’s death. Police said all 25 people who took part in the party will be called in for questioning and the businessman who owns the farmhouse is being investigated.
Postmortem report says there is no abnormality in Satish Kaushik’s death. Cause of death is heart attack. However, the cause will only be clear after the results of the blood test and the heart test.
