The Special Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency, which is investigating allegations related to the October 29 disaster, has summoned Yongsan Fire Chief Choi Seong-beom for a second time to investigate.
With the investigation going to the top of the fire department, the special issue will soon decide whether to apply for a warrant.

Choi Seong-beom, chief of Yongsan Fire Station, was targeted for special investigation on charges of announcing the second phase of the response late at the time of the October 29 disaster.
Chief Choi appeared in the special edition for a second investigation.
It has been five days since the first investigation, which took place on the 21st for 13 hours.

Previously, Chief Choi was unable to announce the second phase of the response directly because he was engrossed in emergency activities at the site, and only the head of the Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced instead, and said there was no problem with the judgment on site.
The investigation into the special version also goes to the highest ranks of the fire department.
For the first time since the disaster, the National Fire Agency carried out a full-scale search and fit, and obtained data from six places, including General Situation Room 119.
The Central Emergency Rescue Management Group was not actually operating on the day of the disaster, but there is a situation where official documents were treated as if they were operating.
In the process, the office of Nam Hwa-young, acting head of the National Fire Agency, was seized and searched to confirm whether he was involved.
In response, the Fire and Disaster Management Agency explained that a control group was first formed due to the earthquake that occurred in Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do on the morning of the disaster, and that it had been expanded.
Park Hee-young, the head of Yongsan-gu, is about to be summoned again, and the second investigation of the main suspects is also accelerating.
