R&B artists Usher and Chris Brown have announced a joint stadium tour, marking a significant collaboration between two of the genre’s most prominent figures. The announcement was made on April 10, 2026, via a joint Instagram post and a cinematic promotional video.

The tour is titled the R&B Tour, which serves as a double entendre for Raymond & Brown, referencing Usher’s birth name, Usher Raymond, and Chris Brown’s surname. The duo shared the news on X with the caption, ITS TIME! #R&BTOUR #Raymond&Brown.

The promotional trailer features the two singers riding motorcycles through city streets before entering a venue and taking a stadium-bound elevator to a stage facing a large crowd. In the video, Usher states, It’s time, to which Brown responds, Hell yeah.

Tour Details and Timing

While the artists have confirmed that the trek will take place in stadiums later in 2026, specific tour dates and city locations have not yet been made public. The announcement focused on the teaser and the partnership rather than a full schedule.

This marks the first-ever joint tour for the pair. For Usher, this represents his first co-headlining tour following the conclusion of his solo Past Present Future Tour in 2024. Chris Brown is coming off his Breezy Bowl XX stadium tour from 2025, which reportedly earned $295 million.

Concurrent Music Releases

The tour announcement coincided with Chris Brown sharing details regarding his 12th studio album, titled Brown. The album is scheduled for release on May 8, 2026, following his birthday.

Concurrent Music Releases

Alongside the album news, Brown released a second single titled Obvious, produced by RoccStar. This track follows a previous release titled It Depends, which features Bryson Tiller. Usher also contributed to the project by appearing on the remix of It Depends.

Collaborative History and Context

Usher and Chris Brown have a history of successful collaborations that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including the hits New Flame and Party, as well as the remix of Back to Sleep. Producer Hitmaka noted in the comments of the tour announcement that seeing the pair perform Party live will be insane, as it was their first number one hit.

The two artists were most recently seen together on January 20, 2026, attending the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2026 fashion show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

In addition to the upcoming tour, Usher has recently released his ninth studio album, Coming Home, via gamma. That project includes the song Good Good featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, and features other collaborations with artists such as Burna Boy, Latto, and The-Dream.
