Mr. Chuck Schumer, Majority Leader of the United States Senate Criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who sent the Israeli army to Gaza causing the death of many Palestinians.
Mr Schumer called for new elections in Israel to change the country’s leadership.
“I believe that the majority of Israelis realize that change is needed. And I believe that holding new elections will give Israelis an opportunity to express their opinion about the future period after the end of the war,” said Mr. Schumer.
In addition, Mr. Schumer said Israel must accept a two-state approach to resolve the conflict. and called for negotiations to reach a ceasefire agreement for the release of the hostages. and sending humanitarian aid to Gaza.
