[헤럴드경제=이명수 기자] Comedian Yoo Jae-seok and actor Yoo Yeon-seok were curious about each other’s appearance fees.
Yoo Jae-seok asked Yoo Yeon-seok, who appears in the musical ‘Hedwig’, on the SBS TV entertainment program ‘Whenever I Can’ which aired on the 30th of last month, “I’m curious. How old are you you get paid for something like that?
Confused, Yoo Yeon-seok responded, “Then how much does your brother get paid? You often cook and eat alone.” Yoo Jae-seok then joked, “Let’s talk about it among ourselves.”
Yoo Jae-seok’s exact appearance fee has never been revealed. When he appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Vivo TV’ in February last year, he said, “Actually, it’s not inconvenient or difficult for me to open (the appearance fee). However, this has implications for the industry .”
According to Nielsen Korea, the viewer rating for the second episode of ‘Whenever I Can’ recorded a peak of 4.9%, 3.8% in the metropolitan area, and 3.1% nationwide, recording an increase in viewership ratings for two consecutive weeks. It also broke its own highest viewership rating. 2049’s viewer rating was 1.4%, ranking second among all Tuesday programs including all channels and first among entertainment programs in just two episodes.
