Bangalore: The Karnataka government has asked the people to avoid traveling to the state till the end of October in view of the rising tide in Kerala. The state health department also requested that Malayalees currently in Kerala should not come to Karnataka. It is reported that Karnataka’s proposal is in view of the expansion of Kovid and Nippa.
The Government of Karnataka requests the people to avoid visiting Kerala for non-urgent matters. Institutions were also instructed not to recall Malayalees working in Karnataka now. In Kerala, Kovid confirmed 25,772 people on Tuesday. Test positivity rate 15.87. The total death toll rose to 21,820, with 189 deaths in the past few days confirmed to be due to Kovid.
