The government expects to implement “Easy Pass” in all government toll tunnels by the end of 2023. Car owners can then use “vehicle stickers”, and there is no need to stop at toll booths or queue to pay when passing through . the tunnels. Now, car owners who use Autotoll can use “Vehicle Sticker” and Autotoll at the same time, and there will be no duplication of payments for both.
“Travel Easy” Vehicle Sticker.
“Zhitongxing” consists of two parts: the toll system and the “payment sticker”. The tunnel toll will be deducted from the toll payment account. When passing through the tunnel, car owners do not need to stop or queue to pay the toll, and they do not need to pass through the designated lane to pay the tunnel toll.
“Payment stickers” are divided into “vehicle stickers” and “vehicle type stickers”. The “vehicle sticker” stores the payment sticker identification number and the processed vehicle identification number. Owners of registered vehicles, holders of vehicle driving licenses or test licenses can apply for “vehicle stickers” from the Department of Transport’s Licensing Office; and “vehicle type stickers” It is used in the form of a stored value and needs to be purchased at a designated location.
How to apply for vehicle stickers
Vehicle owners or authorized persons can apply for vehicle stickers online, in person or in writing. On completion of the application, the vehicle sticker will be posted to the correspondence address of the registered owner of the vehicle registered with the Department of Transport. If the vehicle owner has already chosen to apply for a vehicle sticker when renewing the vehicle license with the Department of Transport earlier, the vehicle owner does not need to apply separately, and will then receive the vehicle sticker by post .

vehicle sticker fee
The first “vehicle sticker” for each vehicle is free. And the “Vehicle Type Sticker” can be purchased at “Easy Travel” customer service centers, service points and vending machines (multi-storey car park at Shuang Fung Street, Wong Tai Sin, multi-storey car park at Shau Kei Wan, multi-storey car park floor in Tsuen Wan and Tai Po Mega Mall). When purchasing the “Vehicle Type Sticker”, an account card will be attached, and the car owner can use the card to activate the “Vehicle Type Sticker”, add value and inquire about transaction records.
Open a “ZizTrade” account and connect the automatic payment method
After applying for the “Vehicle Sticker”, the vehicle owner can register for a “ZZT” account through the “ZZT” website or mobile application. There are three types of “Easy Travel” accounts: general vehicle owner account, commercial vehicle company account (for tunnel toll splitting account), and commercial vehicle driver account (tunnel toll splitting account).
A “ZZT” account can be linked to a bank account, credit card or designated stored value account for automatic payment. Users can pre-deposit funds into designated stored value accounts. Deposit methods include automatic payment by credit card/bank transfer, direct payment by opening designated stored value accounts, electronic payment methods on the website or “ZZ-Traffic” mobile application, up to 7 -11 convenience store/customer service center payments .
Easy Pass Schedule
“Easy Travel” will be implemented in various government toll tunnels in stages, and the Tsing Sha Command will be implemented first in February. When a toll tunnel is activated with “ZZZ”, all “manual toll booths” and “Autotoll” lanes of that tunnel will be cancelled.
Starting from January 2023, vehicle stickers will be issued and applications for vehicle stickers will be accepted through the ZZT website and mobile application
In February 2023, Tsingsha Command will start operating “Easy Travel”
