Eight Indians Among the World’s Top 100 Most Influential People According to The Times

Eight Indians are among the top 100 in the list of the world’s most influential people prepared by The Times. Olympian Sakshi Malik, Indian-origin actor Dev Patel, actress Alia Bhatt, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and World Bank President Ajay Banga are Indians who have made it to the top 100.

Other Indians on the Times list include Jigar Shah, director of the US Energy Loan Program office, Priyamvada Natarajan, a physics professor at Yale University, and Asma Khan, a restaurateur of Indian origin.

Director-producer-writer Tom Harper said that Alia Bhatt has an outstanding talent. He said that apart from being one of the most impressive actresses in the world, he had admired Alia’s performance for the last decade.

Oscar nominated actor Daniel responded that even if the character does something wrong, he will watch Dev Patel’s performance with admiration. The Times notes that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has had a profound impact on shaping our future.
