Cambodia’s local media reported that the explosion at the ammunition depot occurred at 2:45 pm on April 27, local time. The explosion resulted in the complete destruction of three ammunition depots, while residential buildings and the office building of the regional command center were severely damaged. This incident resulted in the deaths of 20 soldiers and at least 15 injuries, while Somdej Hun Manet revealed that the families of the soldiers who died will receive compensation of US $ 20,000 or more than 720,000 baht each, while those who were injured receive compensation of 5,000 dollars each or more than 180,000 baht.
