Softbank announced on the 30th that Group A, the 1st camp, will play a practice game with the Cuban national team participating in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) on February 23rd. Scheduled to start at 1:00pm at the Ivy Miyazaki Stadium, the campsite.
Pitcher Livan Moinero of Softbank participated in the Cuban national team. The 30 members that have been announced also include the names of infielder Julisbel Gracial and outfielder Alfredo Despaigne, who left the team at the end of last season.
