Ferdinand’s remarks towards former colleague “Solskjaer’s dismissal is a just decision”

Rio Ferdinand, who played for Manchester United in the English Premier League (EPL), supported the club’s decision to fire former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United announced on the club’s official website on the 21st (Korean time) that “Solskjaer has stepped down as manager”.

Fans’ reactions to Solskjaer’s dismissal are mixed. Some fans demanded the replacement of the manager as soon as possible because of Manchester United’s poor performance. Protests demanded the sacking of manager Solskjaer every home game.

On the other hand, other fans objected to the change of the managerial position, saying that despite the poor performance, coach Solskjaer, who was a legendary player of the club, should be treated with respect.

Meanwhile, Ferdinand said Solskjaer’s dismissal was justified.

Ferdinand told BT Sports, “It was the right decision for Manchester United to remove Solskjaer. We often say that a player doesn’t suit United. did.
