Ferry stuck. Double drama for hundreds on board

Another nightmare with a stranded vessel. A ferry with more than 600 people on board got stuck in shoals off Seattle. Passengers were stranded on board for hours. Life jackets were distributed. The emergency rafts were also launched. Authorities reported one passenger with a medical problem.

The Coast Guard and other agencies assisted in removing the passengers from the ship. But their problems did not end there. Most of them have put their cars on the ferry and for now they are staying there and people can’t get to their homes. The ship is believed to have run aground after losing power and becoming unmanageable. Options are being sought for it to be towed to a location where people can unload their cars.
