Patch 7.25 introduces the Phantom relic weapon in “Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail,” kicking off a new grind for dedicated players. This guide details the steps to acquire this powerful weapon and navigate the challenges involved.
The initial phase requires gathering 18 demiatma, which drop from critical encounters within the Occult Crescent. Players should anticipate a low drop rate; collecting three demiatma may require completing around 20 critical encounters. A notification will appear when a demiatma is acquired.
After collecting the necessary demiatma, players must deliver them to Gerolt. Next, they need to purchase three Arcanite from Ermina in the Phantom village, each costing 500 Allagan Tomestones of Heliometry, for a total of 1,500 tomes. the Arcanite must be turned in to Dodokkuli while playing as the job for which the weapon is desired.
For players seeking multiple relic weapons, the demiatma grind is a one-time requirement. Subsequent weapons only require repeating the Arcanite exchange process.
