Fortnite’s "Remix: The Finale" Event Recap

Fortnite concluded its Remix season and Chapter 5 with a live event honoring the late rapper Juice WRLD. The event featured performances by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Ice Spice, setting a record for in-game concerts.

Event Highlights:

• Player Attendance: Over 14 million players joined the event, with a peak of 14,343,880 players.
• Concert Duration: The concert started at 7 PM UK Time (2 PM ET) on Saturday and lasted about 15 minutes.
• Snoop Dogg’s Performance: The event began at Snoop Dogg’s headquarters, The Doggpound. He performed "Drop It Like It’s Hot" and a new song titled "Another Part of Me" featuring Sting.
• Eminem’s Set: Eminem performed "The Monster" and "Houdini."
• Ice Spice’s Contribution: Ice Spice performed "In Ha Mood," guiding players across neon rooftops.
• Juice WRLD Tribute: The event concluded with a tribute to Juice WRLD. Players experienced a world premiere of "Empty Out Your Pockets" and ended with his hit "Lucid Dreams." The official music video for "Empty Out Your Pockets" was also shown.

This was Fortnite’s first tribute to a deceased celebrity, successfully honoring Juice WRLD, who passed away in 2019.

Players can still log in to claim the Slayer Juice WRLD skin. Chapter 6 begins on December 1, 2024, introducing Season 1: Hunters, themed around Japan.
