Gas Corporation, MOU for business development with US Sempra Infra

Korea Gas Corporation (CEO Chae Hee-bong) signed an MOU with Sempra Infrastructure (hereinafter referred to as Sempra Infra), an energy infrastructure company, to strengthen cooperation in North American energy infrastructure in Houston, Texas, on April 1 (local time). said. The event was attended by officials from both organizations, including CEO Chae Hee-bong and Sempra Infra CEO Justin Bird.

Sempra Infra is the largest energy infrastructure company in North America, developing and operating LNG, low-carbon and clean energy businesses in Mexico and the United States.

Through this MOU, the two companies agreed to cooperate to discover business opportunities in all areas of energy, such as △LNG business, △hydrogen infrastructure business, and △carbon capture business.

In particular, the two companies decided to strengthen their mutual cooperation system to achieve the corporate vision of preemptively responding to global carbon-neutral policies and expanding participation in low-carbon projects.
