Geekbench Caught Snapdragon 8 2nd Gen ‘Galaxy Tab S9+’ Overclocking

Samsung Electronics plans to introduce the flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series which includes ▲ Galaxy Tab S9 ▲ Galaxy Tab S9+ ▲ Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra in the second half of the year. Last week, we captured the gigbench of the ultra model, and this time, we discovered the gigbench of the plus model.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ tested on Geekbench has model number SM-X818U and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 2nd Gen processor codenamed “Kamala” and clocked up to 3.36GHz. The RAM capacity is confirmed as 12GB.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ scored 2049 points and 5492 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, which is similar to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra model previously tested on Geekbench. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is also equipped with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 2nd Gen chipset clocked at 3.36 GHz.

Summarizing the news reported so far, the ‘Galaxy Tab S9’ series is characterized by a waterdrop camera design applied to the back compared to the previous model. In addition, it is known that Samsung’s flagship tablet will also provide an IP67 rated waterproof function for the first time.

Samsung plans to unveil the ▲ Galaxy Z Flip 5 ▲ Galaxy Z Fold 5 at Galaxy Unpacked in the second half of August at the earliest. There is a possibility that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will also be unveiled at the event.
