KOREA SPOTLIGHT SHOWCASE 2024 @ JAPAN: A Celebration of Korean Music

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea‍ is proud to present the KOREA‌ SPOTLIGHT showcase event, taking place at Spotify O-EAST in ⁢Shibuya, Tokyo on October 9th, 2024. This event is⁣ part of a global initiative to introduce new Korean artists to the world, with previous showcases held in countries such as Germany, Mexico, Thailand, Australia, and the UK.

This year’s lineup features an exciting mix of Korean artists, including cotoba, HYPNOSIS THERAPY, SURL, Glen Check, and LIM KIM. cotoba is a Korean hip-hop duo consisting of producer‍ Jflow and rapper JJANGYOU, ⁣known for their energetic live performances. HYPNOSIS THERAPY is an electronic hip-hop ⁤duo that has gained international recognition for their unique sound. SURL is a talented group that blends genres such as electronic,‍ rock, synth pop, hip-hop, R&B, and jazz. Glen Check is a musician who ‍has won numerous awards⁤ and‍ has been praised for his soulful ⁤music. LIM KIM is a singer-songwriter who⁢ has gained a following ‍for her emotive voice ⁤and heartfelt lyrics.

In addition to these talented Korean artists, the event will also feature special guest Aile The Shota from Japan. Aile The Shota is a member of the popular Japanese music group BMSG and is known⁤ for his energetic live performances.

The event is free and ⁣invitation-only, with tickets available⁤ through a lottery system. The second‌ lottery application is now ⁤open on Ticket Pia.
