A clear coffin holding the remains of Giorgio Armani is positioned in the center of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, surrounded by an array of lanterns. Two security personnel are stationed at the entrance, while two police officers stand guard beneath the Stendardo (banner) within the theater. The music of Ludovico Einaudi’s “Plan” fills the space, accompanied by a looping video of Armani greeting guests after a fashion show.
The video displays Armani’s written will: “I hope to leave a commitment, respect and attention to people and for reality.it is from there that everything begins,” followed by his signature.
Paying Respects
