Goal thriller: Bayern Munich hit Man United

Bayern Munich beat Manchester United just 4-3 in a strange Champions League Group A clash at the Allianz Arena.

The Bavarian colossus showed killer efficiency in the first half as he scored both of his strikes in the space of five minutes through Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry. A big “merit” also goes to the guard of the guests, Andre Onana, who made a big mistake with Sane’s shot.

The start of the second half was a whirlwind. First, Rasmus Hoylund brought back the intrigue, but shortly afterwards Harry Kane restored his two-goal lead from the penalty spot. Sane could have risen dramatically in the next action of the Munich team, but he hit the post.

Bayern continued to crush their opponent and burned the gloves of Onana, who saved shot after shot. And in the background of the cannonade, in the 88th minute, logic took a day off because Casemiro brought back a lucky goal.

In stoppage time, the goalpost saved the visitors again with Thomas Müller’s shot, but seconds later, 18-year-old Mathis Tell fired over Onana from close range. In the 95th minute, Casemiro scored a goal with a header from Bruno Fernadez’s cross, but there was no time for anything more.

The statistics at the end of the match showed 18:9 shots (9:4 accurate) in favor of the Bavarians, with 59% possession of the ball in their possession, gol.bg reported.
