Google Store Reveals Image of “Pixel Watch 2”
Google has recently announced an update to the Pixel Watch app for Android devices connected to the Pixel Watch smartwatch. The latest version, 1.4.0.559745056, now allows users to connect multiple Pixel Watches to a single Android smartphone and easily switch between them. Once updated, users will see a button representing multiple watches in the upper left corner, leading them to a page displaying a list of connected smartwatches. Users also have the option to “Add a smartwatch” on this page.
Further exciting news came on the 7th, when Google revealed an image of the upcoming “Pixel Watch 2” on its official e-commerce website, Google Store. This means that users of the original Pixel Watch will soon be able to enjoy the features of the Pixel Watch 2 by simply updating the app.
Apart from the multiple watch connection feature, the update also enables users to “use your Google Account in the Pixel Watch app” and “link your Pixel Watch to your Google Account.” While no specific details on the added functionalities are provided, it is possible that these features will be fully utilized with an upcoming update to Wear OS 4.
The eagerly awaited Pixel Watch 2, along with Wear OS 4, is expected to be formally announced at the Made by Google event scheduled for October 4th.

Google announced on September 6th (local time) that it has updated the Pixel Watch app for Android devices connected to the Pixel Watch smartwatch to version 1.4.0.559745056.
With this update, you can now connect multiple Pixel Watches to a single Android smartphone and switch between them. After updating, a button representing multiple watches will be displayed in the upper left corner, and tapping this will take you to a page with a list of connected smartwatches. You can also “Add a smartwatch” on this page.
On the 7th, Google unveiled an image of the soon-to-be-unveiled “Pixel Watch 2” on its official e-commerce website “Google Store.” Original Pixel Watch users will be able to use the Pixel Watch 2 while using the original Pixel Watch by updating the app.
The update also adds the ability to “use your Google Account in the Pixel Watch app” and “link your Pixel Watch to your Google Account.” I actually linked my account, but there was no explanation of what I could do with it, and no change in the UI. This feature may be available with an update to Wear OS 4.
