Goyang City Esports Association signs business agreement with T1 Esports Academy

Expected to revitalize domestic and international e-sports business

Goyang City Esports Association announced on the 30th that it signed a business agreement with T1 Esports Academy (T1A), an e-sports specialized educational institution, at the T1 HQ building for the development of e-sports.

T1A is an academy run by T1, known as the team with the most popularity and performance in the League of Legends LCK league and the Valorant international league Pacific League, and provides esports education services from top professional instructors.

Goyang City e-Sports Association was established last year and has been expanding the base of Ke-Sports-based lifestyle sports and promoting exchange competitions, performances, and academy projects between Korea and Chengdu, China and Arab countries.

Through a business agreement, the two organizations have ▲Overseas team BOOT CAMP & T1A trainee and international student attraction project ▲T1 BASE CAMP and T1A platform-based domestic and overseas base discovery and operation project ▲T1 branding CO-linked with domestic and international esports event competitions and performances We agreed to cooperate with each other to share and exchange information for MARKETING projects, attract overseas sponsors, implement a regional affiliation system, and build an E-Sports stadium in Goyang City.

Jeong-ho Yoon, head of T1 Game Operations Department, said, “Through the business agreement with the Goyang City e-Sports Association, we will share information for domestic and international e-sports business,” and added, “We will embark on various overseas business expansion strategies to foster the e-sports industry.”

Park Jae-i, head of the Goyang City e-Sports Association and a preliminary candidate for the People Power Party’s Goyangjeong government, said, “By signing a business agreement with T1, we will use this as an opportunity to expand K e-Sports’ global branding and advance overseas,” adding, “We will make Goyang City a mecca for e-sports in the future.” revealed.

Meanwhile, T1A and the Goyang City e-Sports Association are expected to use this business cooperation as an opportunity to not only develop e-sports education and industry, but also create a more developed e-sports environment at home and abroad.
