If there is no new variant, Kovid will be dead by March – ICMR scientist | Covid 19

New Delhi: The number of patients with Kovid third wave in the country is on the rise. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated in southern India than in northern India. The rising number of people affected by the Omicron variant is also a cause for concern. But Sameeran Panda, a leading scientist at ICMR, has revealed that Kovid is likely to end by March.

Panda says Kovid will end on March 11 if more people are affected by Omicron than the Delta variant and no new variants are available. Sameeran Panda is the Head of the Epidemiology Unit of the Indian Council of Medical Research. He also reminded that there should be no compromise on Kovid defense.

In Mumbai and Delhi, we have to wait another two weeks to see if the cases have reached a maximum. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during this time in many states. He added that Omikron, which was launched on December 11, will continue for three months and will end on March 11.

The states in the country have not been asked to reduce the number of Kovid tests and will have to make changes in the various stages of the disease, testing and methods for it. This is when new strains of the virus appear.
