In the early summer weather, “To the mountains and the sea”

During the four day ‘stepping stone holiday’, the early summer weather continues with daytime temperatures rising around 30 degrees across the country.

Today, holidays in the mountains, seas and cities throughout the country were full of citizens who wanted to enjoy the holidays.

Like a painting, bright smiles bloom on the faces of climbers climbing the route surrounded by flowers.

A colony of royal azaleas at an altitude of 1,600 meters above Mt. Hallasan.

It reached its peak three days earlier than last year in the early summer weather.

Flower festivals and mountaineering competitions, which had been canceled due to epidemics, resumed after four years to celebrate the arrival of summer.

“It was hot here (sunlight), so I went into the water, but it was a bit too cold.”

In the early heat, the maximum daytime temperature at Anmok Beach in Gangneung rose to 31 degrees Celsius.

Although it is not full summer holiday season, the beach was packed throughout the day with holidaymakers trying to escape the heat for a while.

A variety of local festivals were also held for the long-awaited holidays.

Citizens riding Seoul’s public bicycle ‘Ttareungi’ start in a row.

“Every time we rent Ttareungyi, carbon emissions come out, so we ride while watching.”

Ride a bike and run vigorously on the roads in the city, which are usually difficult to run.

It is an event designed to encourage the use of bicycles to reduce air pollution from cars a day before ‘Environment Day’.

The participants marched on bicycles around Sinchon, arguing that Yonsei-ro should be restricted from vehicle use to create a pedestrian-friendly street.

Today, with the country’s highest daytime temperature around 30 degrees, the scorching early summer heat will continue tomorrow.
