Alappuzha: Police have found a man who looks like Rahul, who went missing 17 years ago, and brought him to Alappuzha. At 9.15pm on Thursday night at 9.15pm on the thorny edge of curiosity, the first thing he looked at was his leg. The mother immediately confirmed that it was not her child.
Then, it was the turn of relatives and neighbors. They only said that it was similar to Rahul’s ear. After Mini confirmed that he was not Rahul, the police released the 24-year-old along with a family friend in Alappuzha.
Mini received a letter and a photo from Mumbai claiming to have seen a child resembling Rahul. The letter was sent by Malayalee Vasundhara Devi. According to the letter, Vinay, who bears a resemblance to Rahul, was spotted at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Vinay had said that he was in the Nedumbassery area now.
The police found the person named ‘Vinay’ mentioned in the letter while watching a movie at Lulu Mall in Ernakulam. Seven-year-old Rahul suddenly went missing on May 18, 2005 at around 4 pm while playing cricket near his home.
