Happy New Year to all baseball fans! This is Kenshi Sugitani, who retired from active duty at the end of last season. It’s been about 2 months since the retirement game in November last year. When I was active, I would move my elbows and hips every morning to check, but now that I’ve lost that, I feel sad. However, since moving on, there are many new stimuli, and I am very excited every day.

A real baseball ban will be the first time in 2 years. I thought November and December after my retirement would be a time of thanksgiving to those who took care of me, but I was told not to give anything on the day of the recording of the actual baseball ban. I have been asking the team for a long time. In 2023, the opportunity to catch a bat will be drastically reduced, and as a baseball player, the last real baseball ban. There was something very touching.

Before recording, I practiced at Kamagaya batting centers and Tokyo Dome. Even though I retired, I didn’t want to be embarrassed. There is also a special movement in the program. Sometimes I say it on the spur of the moment, but this year, I will do it in every possible way, with a strong feeling. I stopped practicing and my hands hurt a lot after batting, but I put all my 14 years of experience into the bat.
