Ji So-yeon is coming to the WK League!… Farewell to Chelsea and tears

Korean women’s soccer ace So-yeon Ji has finished playing in Chelsea, England and is entering the domestic WK League.

The Chelsea club have announced that Ji So-yeon will leave the team and return to Korea at the end of this season.

Ji So-yeon said goodbye to Chelsea fans with tears, saying she decided to go to the WK League after much consideration.

Ji So-yeon, the first Korean female player to advance to the UK stage in 2014, received the Player of the Year award upon her debut, and led the championship 11 times with 68 goals and 45 assists.

Ji So-yeon will play two league matches and the FA Cup final before returning to Korea next month.
