Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein marries; The bride is from a Saudi family – NEWS 360 – WORLD

Amman: The Crown Prince of Jordan Hussein Bill Abdullah and Rajwa Al Seifa of Saudi Arabia married yesterday. The wedding ceremony took place at Zahran Palace in Amman, the capital of Jordan. 140 guests attended the wedding, including members of the royal family, First Lady of the United States Jill Biden, Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate.

Prince Hussein was declared heir to the throne in 2009. Rajwa has close ties to the Saudi royal family. King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Queen Máxima, King Philippe of Belgium, Crown Princess Elisabeth, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Mary were also present at the wedding ceremony.

Celebrations were held across Jordan to mark the wedding. The streets were decorated with pictures and banners of the bride and groom. Thousands of people gathered in Amman to watch the couple’s procession.

After studying at the Royal Military Academy in Britain, Hussain studied history at the University of Washington. His bride has completed her architecture studies at Syracuse University in New York.
