Kochi – Malayali cricketer Karun Nair has scored a double century in English county cricket. With this, Bengaluru native Karun Nair became the third Indian player to score a double century in the English county.

Karun, who plays for Northamptonshire in the county, scored 202 off 253 balls in the Second Division County Championship against Glamorgan. An innings that included two sixes and 21 boundaries. Mohammad Azharuddin and Cheteshwar Pujara are the previous Indian players to score double centuries in the county. “It’s nice to be able to consistently get a good score.
