According to KBS on the 4th, Kim Ki-hoon, who entered France on the 17th of last month (local time), has not been contacted for two weeks since he made a post on social media on the 19th, two days later. Mr. Kim was born in 1993, is 178 cm tall, has an average build and has a tattoo on his arm. Previously, Mr. Kim constantly posted stories about his trips to India and Japan through his SNS account. But this time there has been no news for almost two weeks. To find out Mr. Kim’s whereabouts, the family received consular assistance and reported him missing to the local police. We also asked the Korean Association of France for help. Comments continue to appear on Mr. Kim’s SNS post asking anyone who saw Mr. Kim to contact them.

An acquaintance who met Mr Kim on the afternoon of the 18th, the day before contact was severed, said he believed Mr Kim had taken up lodgings near the Gare du Nord in Paris. At the time of their breakup, Kim reportedly said they would sit at a cafe and then go for a walk.

The Korean embassy in France said anyone who knows or has witnessed Kim’s whereabouts should report it to the embassy.
