National Indicators Survey Results of the poll on the suitability of the next presidential candidate

According to the results of a survey of 1,007 people conducted by the above four survey institutions on the 27th and 29th (sample error 95% confidence level ±3.1% points), in the next presidential candidate fitness survey, Governor Lee Jae-myung gained 29% and only 17%, Yoon Seok-yeol. He was 12 percentage points ahead of the former president. People’s Strength lawmaker Hong Jun-pyo won 14 percent, and former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon won 9 percent. Attitude reservation (none+don’t know/no response) was 21%.

This is a result of the relatively small gap between Governor Lee Jae-myung and former President Lee Nak-yeon (21%) with 63% of the supporters of the Democratic Party, while former President Yoon Seok-yeol and Representative Hong Jun-pyo with 42% and 32% of the People’s Power supporters.

National Indicators Survey Progressive camps for the next presidential election

In a survey conducted only for presidential candidates within the progressive and conservative camps, it was found that support for the powerful candidates decreased overall.

Looking at the suitability of presidential candidates in the progressive camp, Governor Lee Jae-myung decreased 4 percentage points to 30 percent from the previous week, and former president Nak-yeon Lee decreased 3 percentage points to 16 percent. 43% of responses with attitude reservation (no + don’t know/no response) rose 10 percentage points from the previous week.

Rep. Hong Joon-pyo decreased 4 percentage points from the previous week to 25 percent, and former President Yoon Seok-yeol decreased 5 percentage points to 19 percent. Again, the number of respondents who reserved their attitude rose by 10 percentage points to 36%. Among the conservative voters, former President Yoon received 34% and Rep. Hong received 30%, but among the progressive voters, Assemblyman Hong gained 23%, far ahead of former President Yoon, who got only 7%.
