Lee Jae-myung Appears in Trial Amid Election Campaign: Updates on Corruption Allegations and Campaign Activities

Yesterday, on the sixth day of the official election campaign, Representative Lee Jae-myung appeared in a trial related to allegations of corruption in the Daejeon-dong development.

Representative Lee encouraged the candidates remotely, repeatedly emphasized the regime’s judgment, and visited key areas of Dongjak in the Han River Belt to support the candidates.

The day before yesterday Lee Jae-myeong, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited the Incheon area and asked for the “judgment of the regime”.

Yesterday, instead of campaigning, I visited the court to watch the trial of “Daejang-dong, Baekhyeon-dong and Seongnam FC”.

Rep. Lee is also scheduled to attend the trial on the 9th, the day before the general election.

Representative Lee repeatedly criticized President Yoon’s medical speech in his YouTube broadcast in which he remotely supports candidates before his appearance at yesterday’s trial, underscoring the regime’s judgment.

After the trial ended, he visited Dongjak-eul, a central area of ​​the Han River Belt, for the sixth time to support Democratic Party candidate Ryu Sam-young, who is running against People Power Party candidate Na Kyung-won .

Kim Boo-gyeom, chairman of the Democratic Party’s Standing Election Committee, ran a 400km election race on behalf of Representative Lee, traveling through Gangwon, North Chungcheong Province, North Gyeongsang Province and Daegu.

Representative Lee Jae-myeong, who moved to Jeju last night after completing the trial, will attend the April 3 victims’ memorial ceremony in Jeju today.

After the memorial ceremony, we will move to Gimhae and continue our election campaign in the Nakdong River belt, a hotly contested area.
